At Through Service We Grow, we know that true wellness goes beyond simply managing stress—it is about building a foundation for a purposeful life. Expanding on the holistic healing strategies of Faith, Hope, and Love and the purpose-driven leadership of Gird Your Loins and Light Your Lamp, we are developing a comprehensive curriculum to bring these life-changing concepts directly to students.
The Adolescent Mental Wellness Program is an upcoming 18-week curriculum uniquely tailored for students in the 6th, 8th, and 11th grades. It is designed to equip young people with the essential tools they need for long-term emotional health, personal growth, and servant leadership.
We believe that a student's physical, social, and emotional wellness is deeply interconnected. When one area suffers, they all suffer. But when they are balanced, students unlock their capacity to thrive.
Over the course of 18 weeks, this program will guide students through crucial developmental topics, including:

Teaching students how to identify, understand, and safely process their thoughts and feelings.

Providing frameworks for navigating social pressures and making choices aligned with their core values.

Building the mental fortitude to bounce back from life's inevitable peaks and valleys.

Helping students realize their potential to positively impact their communities.

Inspiring students to view their lives through the lens of a broader, mission-driven calling.
This curriculum is being specifically engineered for three major transitional phases in a student's academic and personal life:

Preparing students for the social and emotional shifts of middle school.

Equipping students with the resilience needed to step confidently into high school.

Guiding older adolescents as they look toward young adulthood, helping them anchor their future ambitions in service and purpose.
